International Paper Presents Innovations at Fruit Logistica 2009 in Berlin
"Serving You Naturally" – with that slogan, IP attended Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading fresh Fruit & Vegetable trade fair in Berlin, Germany from February 4-6. Visitors had the opportunity to meet IP representatives and discuss individual corrugated packaging solutions. It was the first time, that the company’s corrugated packaging business in EMEA attended with a joint stand integrating its five regional businesses in France, Italy, Spain, Morocco and Turkey.

"This tradeshow provides the opportunity to meet with customers from the entire fresh fruit & vegetable supply chain and we’ve made some important new contacts and re-enforced our image as a European leader in fruit & vegetable packaging."
One of the highlights at IP's stand was the Vitabox®, a bulk box that has been developed by IP's French team to offer a combined transportation and retail display solution for a variety of fruit and vegetables. It is made entirely out of paper, allows for attractive promotional printing and fits the standard pallet dimensions during transport. “We are committed to always finding new innovative ways to help our customers be more successful”, continued Mr. Brown.
